Snake fish tom yum soup with red ant | ต้มปลาค่อใหญ่ใส่มดแดง
When dry season is coming water in the field is gone so fast in my farm field had a small canal to keep water for our animal on dry season. In the canal have a lot of fish we’re designed going to catching fish in the canal by using bucket bring water out from the canal after bring all off the water out from the canal we catching fish with hands to find fish is hiding under mud. We’re select to catch only big fish small fish we let it go to a grown-up for next year. After we had enough fish we get back to home and I’m ready to cook “snake fish tom yum soup” on the way go home we’re looking for red ant nest for ingredients this menu because in dry season lime is hard to find out but we can use red ant instead. red ant taste is like sour but the smell is stronger than lime juice
Ingredients:
- Snake fish cut
- Bird-eye chili crush
- Red onion crush
- Galangal slice
- Lime leaf
- Lemongrass slice
- Red ant
- Fish sauce
- Coriander
How to cook:
Clean snake fish and keep separate boil water in pot soup and put galangal, lime leaf, lemongrass, wait until the water is hot and then put snake fish wait for fish is cook done and then put chili, fish sauce, red ant and coriander test how is taste and serve.
Tip: after put snake fish don’t do anything until fish is done because if you touch the soup will make soup is smell from fish you soup is will bad taste.
